Sustainability Promotion Policy

We have established the Sustainability Promotion Policy as a basic initiative for realizing the Basic Policy on Sustainability. This document discloses the Sustainability Promotion Policy, demonstrating that we believe it is important to work with stakeholders and to make sustainability efforts throughout the entire supply chain. We share the contents of this policy with our stakeholders and work together with them to resolve social issues, while gaining their understanding and approval.


1. Efforts to Address Human Rights Issues

- We support and respect the protection of human rights and are not complicit in human rights abuses.

2. Efforts to Address Labor Issues

- We are not complicit in forced labor or child labor.

- We do not subject workers to overwork or unfairly low wages.

- We do not discriminate in employment.

- We appropriately manage working hours and holidays of employees, and do not make them work more than the prescribed limit.

- We respect employees' right to organize in order to facilitate labor-management discussions.

3. Efforts for Safety and Health

- We provide a safe, hygienic, and healthy working environment for employees.

- We conduct medical examinations of employees at the level stipulated by laws and regulations, and strive for the prevention and early detection of diseases among employees.

- We pay sufficient attention to the prevention of health problems due to overwork, as well as to mental health care and other care.

4. Efforts to Address Environmental Issues

- We recognize environmental issues, including climate change, and make efforts to realize the effective use of resources and energy.

5. Efforts for Compliance with Laws and Social Norms

- We strictly comply with laws and regulations and conduct fair transactions.

- We prevent all forms of corruption, including extortion and bribery.

6. Efforts for Quality and Safety

- We ensure the quality and safety of our products and services.

- We do not provide false or altered information.

7. Efforts for Information Security

- We appropriately manage information security.

- We provide education and training to employees.

8. Efforts for Business Continuity

- We strive for sound corporate management to ensure business continuity.

- We strive to establish a communication system and means of communication on a daily basis.

9. Other

- We establish a complaint-handling mechanism to strive for early detection of misconduct, or we make public the following corporate ethics helpline contact points.
