Focus Systems and Tech Mahindra sign memorandum of understanding for IT services - Aiming to expand business into new areas through collaboration between Indian and Japanese technologies and resources -

Focus Systems Corporation(Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo, President and CEO: Keiichi Mori, hereinafter referred to as "Focus Systems") and Tech Mahindra Limited (Republic of India, Minato-ku, Tokyo, Asia Pacific Regional Manager: Harshvendra Soin, Japan/Korea Regional Manager: Ashokkumar Janarthana, hereinafter referred to as "Tech Mahindra"), a member of the Mahindra Group, a prestigious Indian conglomerate, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for a comprehensive business partnership in the IT services business.

Through this partnership, the two companies will complement each other in the fields of embedded semiconductors and digital transformation solutions, and will explore ways to provide higher value-added IT services to customers in both the Japanese and Indian markets.

■Background

Tech Mahindra is one of the core companies of the Mahindra Group, a prestigious Indian conglomerate, and has a strong global IT and engineering services business and a strong network with major Japanese companies. However, with the demand for IT-DX and engineering services rapidly expanding in Japan, it needed to strengthen its delivery system within Japan.

Focus Systems' strengths are its software development capabilities, which it has cultivated over many years in the Japanese market, and its project management skills, which enable it to accurately materialize customer requirements. In the embedded field, the company has a strong track record in areas such as automobiles and smartphones, but expansion into new fields has become the key to future growth.
